Mimi Sison (pronounced "see-sawn") is a professional portrait, wedding, and lifestyle photographer originally based in Seattle, Washington and now operating in Amherst, New Hampshire. She is a self-taught, natural light visual artist and storyteller with over 10 years of experience in the field.

She loves working with everyday people with extraordinary stories, and specializes in producing high-quality and affordable digital photography that documents and tells stories of the experiences, places, and relationships that matter most to you.

Mimi enjoys traveling on-location for the majority of her sessions, preferring the natural backdrop of creation over a studio. She looks forward to hearing from you and working with you, especially before the New England winter sets in! (P.S. Any tips on how to stay warm will be much appreciated!)

When not on photo assignments on the weekends, Mimi relaxes or recharges by:

  • updating her daily life planner
  • sifting through old photographs
  • reading alone or with her husband
  • handwriting letters to loved ones
  • learning to cook Asian-fusion recipes
  • driving on quiet, canopied back roads
  • teaching and mentoring young people​
  • napping during the in-betweens of life
